China's Huawei grew faster than Samsung, Apple in 2016

Chinese cell phone creator Huawei figured out how to make strides on Samsung and Apple as far as piece of the overall industry a year ago, after the issues experienced by the two division goliaths, the Gartner consultancy amass said on Wednesday.

Throughout the year in general, the Chinese creator saw its business jump by 26.7%, while the South Korean and US rivals both saw their business decrease by 4.3%, Gartner said in a review.


As result, Huawei could expand its share of the cell phone division to 8.9% in 2016 from 7.3% a year prior, while Samsung saw its piece of the pie recoil by two full rate focuses to 20.5% and Apple's contracted to 14.4% from 15.9%.

Among the other Chinese cell phone producers are OPPO, BBK Communication Equipment (with its One Plus and Vivo brands), ZTE, Xiaomi and Lenovo.

In the final quarter of 2016 alone, the dispatch of the iPhone 7 and Samsung's challenges with its Note 7 show empowered Apple to take best opening in the market with a share of 17.9% or 77 million units sold.

Samsung sold 76.8 million cell phones in the October-December period, giving it a piece of the overall industry of 17.8%, while Huawei sold 40.8 million telephones or a piece of the pie of 9.5%.

With respect to the distinctive working frameworks, Android, which is utilized by the expansive larger part of cell phone producers, summons a piece of the overall industry of 81.7%, while Apple's iOS working arrangement of its iPhones and iPads represents 17.9% of the market.
